Terms of Sales for Artworks

⚠️ Check that you are ok with the lack of virgin plastic packaging and collection only. ⚠️

Packaging:
All works are sold without virgin plastic packaging- especially not petroleum-based plastics and not even PLA or other plant-based plastics (stuff that doesn’t actually degrade except under specific conditions in facilities). Recycled materials could be used for protection where it does not affect the work.

But it is a rainy country here and I cannot work out how to send unique artworks securely without contributing to excessive packaging wastes. So, there is currently only one option for delivery: collection. You can also send a friend, especially if there’s one near or in my studio, you’d get to see your friend too. There are 600 or so artists around three sites nearby, so if you have an artist friend in London, ask them!

Collection locations for big artworks:
The studio (SE18 5TF, Art Hub Studios)
In some cases, I would be able to roll the work up and make arrangements as small artwork (see below).

Collection locations for small artworks:
The studio (SE18 5TF, Art Hub Studios)
Stations around SE/E London, e.g. Woolwich, Greenwich, Deptford, Hackney.
Once a month in Herne Hill station.
I can bring works that you may want with me to the location of events, fairs, exhibitions I’m invovled in, around the country.
Currently this includes:
Southwark Park Galleries SE16 2UA (show info), last day: 14th Dec 2024

Frames:
I also take commission on making frames from reclaimed materials.
Or I can arrange framing from a local framer on behalf of you.

The note at checkout:
At checkout, there is a space to leave a note. Please suggest some date/time and locations that can work for you for collection. The note is optional, so if you leave it blank, you can also get in touch later to arrange collection. Please also let me know if framing is of interest, I will follow up with you.

Terms of Sales for Zines and Risographs

⚠️ Check that you are ok with the minimal packaging for slow postal delivery. ⚠️

Unlike artworks, I will post zines and risographs.
You are, of course, very welcomed to arrange a collection, same collection info as it would be for small artwork, please see above.

Posting:
ONLY by slow post (hoping they are taking the trains and ships rather than flights). If slow post is not available to your location or that I have not set up shipping to your location, please get in touch. There will not be posting by flights but I wanted to see how else I can share ideas with you.

Packaging:
Zines and risograph will be posted in card-backed paper envelopes or sent rolled up in cardboard-only tubes.
There will be no extra card or plastics wrapping around it. A lot of plant-based plastics are actually not degradeable except under specific conditions in facilities and the petroleum-based plastics are not bio-degradable.
